The Brick Paver Doctor (Dr.) Upcoming Franchise

Greetings from The Brick Paver Doctor (Dr.). We have recently started the process of franchising our company so that the same mission statement we exercise locally in Detroit can be practiced nationally by individual franchises.

Our Mission Statement:
It is our goal to complete your brick paver project such that you are 100% satisfied with the final product and the experience of dealing with The Brick Paver Dr. It is also our goal to ensure that your brick paver project is completed in the most cost-effective manner possible. As an employer, we strive to hire the best individuals in the industry, and provide the most competitive employment opportunity for those individuals. Our employees are our most important assets.

We know brick pavers and hardscape are enjoyed nationally and we even get requests from other US regions for our same Metro Detroit services. Unfortunately, we are unable to extend to these regions.

The Brick Paver Dr. has the perfect business model, industry leading best practices, and access to all The Brick Paver Dr. franchisor experience, in which someone can adopt and practice for his/her own franchisee business. It would require minimal competitive upfront investment costs, be home-based, and be an individually owned & operated service business. For any questions during the franchising process please call 1-866-80-PAVER. Thank you.

Inspecting Your Brick Pavers After the Harsh Winter

The Brick Paver Doctor
The Brick Paver Doctor
We are very close to the Spring thaw we didn't think would ever arrive in 2015. Be careful to inspect your pavers for safety issues and causes of future improper water flow. You'll want to look especially for things like trip hazards and/or brick pavers that are sloping towards your home's foundation or other structures. If you have any questions feel free to contact The Brick Paver Doctor.

Many clients are already contacting us to set up appointments to review brick paver patio troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs, even though there is still snow on the ground. The bottom line is, everyone has had enough of this winter and is anxious to use his/her patio. It won't be long now! Contact us today! The Brick Paver Doctor - www.thebrickpaverdoctor.com or 1-866-80-PAVER or email us at customerinquiries@thebrickpaverdoctor.com.

We look forward to working with you.

Another Frigid Winter with Moderate Snow in Michigan

It has been another frigid Michigan winter: Less snow, but colder temperatures compared to the record 2013-2014 winter. What does this mean to brick paver hardscape owners in Michigan? This means, unless your brick paver hardscape was installed properly, you could experience shifting. Proper installation includes correct base material, proper base preparation, and final water management provisions, In some cases, with the harsh Michigan environment, I'm sorry to say that you can also expect some negative cosmetic effects on your brick paver hardscape, even with the proper installation and prep work.

Please feel free to contact us directly at 1 (866) 80 PAVER or by e-mail at customerinquiries@thebrickpaverdoctor.com to discuss your brick paver hardscape project.

I'm Vince, the owner, and I will personally meet with you to discuss your brick paver hardscape project. Don't forget to visit our website www.thebrickpaverdoctor.com.

Thank you, stay warm, and remember, Spring is in sight! We're looking forward to another great season.

Corrugated Drain Tile Under Walkways is a "No No"

Greetings from The Brick Paver Dr. - On a regular basis, we run into homes with brick paver walkways in which the "builder special" has occurred. What does this mean? This means that either the builder of the house or the brick paving company put a budget drain tile under the walkway. This weak design will collapse, shift, or plug up, and then affect the walkway itself, and possibly cause water management problems. Bad water management means potential other expensive problems. What should you use instead? You should be using PVC pipe - and not schedule 30 - make sure you use schedule 40. It's a little more expensive, but it could save you a painful future repair. It's much more rigid. As always, if you have any questions let me know by contacting us at 1-866-80-PAVER, www.thebrickpaverdoctor.com.
